What is the Freeview account and how do I sign up?

Your Freeview account is a single account giving you access to all the shows from all participating broadcasters. Signing up for a Freeview account means you won't need to sign in to individual broadcaster apps.

It's free to sign up, and you only need to do it once.

You only need an account if you want to stream Live TV. If you just want to watch broadcast Live TV, an account is not required.

How do I sign up?

The first time you launch the Freeview Streaming TV app, you'll be asked to register for a Freeview account.

This will allow you to watch all that great TV any time, for free. 

You can register in two ways, whichever one is easier for you:

1. sign up with your email, find out more about email registration here.
2. sign up with Facebook, find out more about Facebook registration here.

You only need to do it once and your TV, box or recorder will be linked to your Freeview Account.

Once you've completed the sign-up process, you'll be signed in automatically each time you access Freeview Streaming TV, so you won't need to sign in each time.
