What is happening with Freeview On Demand?

The Freeview On Demand service is set to end on Monday 12 December 2022, with the update taking place shortly after midnight Sunday.

From then on, you won’t be able to watch on demand shows through Freeview; but as with watching on demand through TVNZ+, you can still enjoy those shows on ThreeNow, Māori+ and RNZ, wherever they’re available.

This doesn’t affect Freeview Live TV or any other Freeview feature. You’ll still be able to enjoy all the same channels you know and love, check what’s on with the TV Guide and record programmes with your Freeview Recorder.

And as always, all the channels and features on Freeview are yours to enjoy, free of charge.
